Resource Tags
Tags are lightweight labels for cross-cutting categorisation. Folders are hierarchical; tags are flat and many-to-many.
Tag vs Folder
| Dimension | Folder | Tag |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | Tree | Flat |
| Count per resource | 1 | Many |
| Drives markup? | No | No |
| Drives reports? | Sometimes (filter) | Yes — reports often filter by tag |
Creating a Tag
- Open the Tags panel in the Resources view.
- Click New Tag.
- Name, optional colour, optional description.
Applying Tags

Behind the scenes this creates a ResourceTagMapping row connecting the resource to the tag.
