AnnotationA drawable markup element layered over a capture — pen, shape, text, step, blur, etc.
CalloutText rendered inside a speech-bubble shape; same font options as the Text tool.
CaptureA still image grabbed from the screen — region, fullscreen, or scrolling.
Confidence (OCR)Tesseract's 0-100 score for the extracted text on a given capture.
Dock PillThe compact 148x60 floating toolbar shown when UI.DockToBottom is enabled.
EULAEnd-User License Agreement; must be accepted before first use (see 11.1).
Fullscreen CaptureA capture of every monitor combined, taken without a region overlay.
Hardware EncodingScreen-recording path that offloads H.264/H.265 to GPU (NVENC / QuickSync / AMF).
HistoryPersistent list of recent captures stored in %APPDATA%\Tex\capture_history.json.
HotkeyGlobal keyboard shortcut registered with Windows via NHotkey (see Appendix B).
